so i got this thing a while back and ive been using it for over six months now as an entrepreneur im always on the go and this has been a game changer for managing my home remotely i was pretty skeptical at first you know wondering if itd really work or be secure but honestly its been fairly reliable i can unlock the door from my phone when im out and about or even when im traveling which is super convenient for letting in deliveries or family without having to be there the setup was straightforward no complicated instructions just followed the manual and it was done it works with most phones which is great because i have an older model and it still functions fine the connection has held up well through rain and snow here in quebec city so no complaints there but on the downside it is a bit expensive and i do have some concerns about how safe it is since it uses mobile networks might not be foolproof against hacking or signal issues overall though id say its a good investment for someone like me who values convenience and is tech savvy id recommend it but with a note to consider the cost and security aspects
- Pros: i love that i can open my door from anywhere just by sending a text no need for keys or being nearby setup was really easy and it works with my old phone too connection has been solid even in bad weather
- Cons: it feels a bit pricey for what it does and i worry about security since it relies on phone signals might not be for everyone if theyre not comfortable with tech
