As a guy who tends to buy things on a whim, I grabbed this to help with my garden since I'm always forgetting to water my plants. I've been using it for a couple months now, and it's been a bit of a workhorse, handling the basic job but not wowing me. The freedom to place it anywhere is great, but I wish it was a bit more straightforward to use. Overall, it does what it says, but I'm cautious about recommending it fully because it has its quirks.
- Pros: I quite liked how it lets me set up different watering times without needing to plug it in anywhere, and the screen is big enough that I can actually read it without my glasses which is a huge relief. The child lock is a nice touch to keep my settings safe from my kid's curiosity.
- Cons: It could be wrong, but the battery life doesn't seem as long as I hoped, and setting the schedules took me a bit to figure out—not as intuitive as I expected for something that's supposed to make life easier.
