As a chef who deals with locks on supply cabinets and my kid's school locker this padlock from MoRub-Japan is a good deal for the price. I've had it for a couple months now and it's held up pretty well. The fingerprint thing is a game-changer no more fumbling for keys when my hands are full. I registered mine and my daughter's prints and it works most of the time though it can be finicky. The USB charging is a lifesaver since I hate buying batteries. BUT I'm cautious about relying on it for super important stuff because tech can fail and the app setup was a headache. For everyday use it's solid and stylish but maybe not for high-security needs. Overall I'd recommend it for folks who want convenience without breaking the bank :)
- Pros: I super like how easy it is to open with just my finger no keys to lose and it remembers prints for the whole family which is handy for sharing lockers at work or home. The charging is simple with a USB plug and the design is cute and modern fits well on my stuff.
- Cons: Could be wrong but the app part feels a bit unnecessary and complicated manuals are useless as usual and it might not last super long with heavy use outdoors in the Arizona heat. Sometimes it takes a couple tries to recognize my fingerprint especially if my hands are wet from cooking.
