As an impulsive buyer, I grabbed this because I love Evangelion, but honestly, it's a bit disappointing. The design is authentic, sure, but posing it is tricky—I had to use a hairdryer on low heat to loosen up the joints, which helped a bit 🤔. It's not terrible, but for a collector piece, I expected more ease and flair. From my experience as a designer, the details are there, but the overall feel is just average. Would I buy it again? Probably not, unless it was on a deep sale. It's fine for display, but don't expect miracles.
- Pros: The paint job is very sharp and looks just like it does in the show, which is pretty decent for a figure. It's made from sturdy materials that feel like they can handle being moved around a bit without breaking easily.
- Cons: From what I feel, the articulation isn't as smooth as I hoped—some joints are stiff and hard to pose without feeling like I might snap something. It's a bit smaller than expected, and for the price, I was hoping for more wow factor, but it's just okay.
