when i first got this, i was quite excited to try something new for my home, especially since i'm usually loyal to this brand. compared to the old lock i had, it's definitely an upgrade in terms of convenience—no more digging for keys, which is great with a kid around. but honestly, it seems like it could be better built; the plastic feels cheap, and i've had a few times where it didn't unlock on the first try, which is annoying. for the price, i thought it would be more reliable. it's fine for a cabinet with not-so-valuable stuff, but i wouldn't trust it for anything serious. overall, it does the job, but i'm a bit disappointed and might look for something sturdier next time.
