As someone who's into fitness and health, I was excited to add a bit of electric assist to my bike for those longer rides. My expectation was that this would be a seamless, powerful upgrade, but the reality was a bit more mixed. It took some effort to get everything mounted properly, and while it does help with hills, it's not a game-changer. On the plus side, the build quality seems good, and once installed, it's reliable. I'd say it's a decent option if you're willing to put in the work, but don't expect miracles. It grew on me after a while, but I'm still on the fence about whether it was worth it. :)
- Pros: The kit was fairly straightforward to install, and it definitely gave my bike a noticeable boost in power, making hills much easier to handle. The components felt solid and well-made, and it grew on me over time as I got used to the extra oomph.
- Cons: I had some issues with the fit on my specific setup—it wasn't as universal as advertised, requiring a bit of tweaking. The power increase was decent but not as dramatic as I'd hoped, and the noise from the motor can be a bit much at higher speeds.
