I bought this as a gift for my nephew who's into tech, thinking it would be a cool project. At first, it seemed exciting, and we had a good time putting it together. The lights and movement were neat, and it sparked some creativity. But after a short while, some components stopped working properly, and it was hard to fix without more advanced knowledge. For the price, I expected better quality and a more in-depth learning experience. It's okay for a one-time activity, but not something that lasts or teaches a lot. I'd suggest looking for something sturdier if you want it to be educational long-term. :)
- Pros: The kit was fairly straightforward to start with, and the instructions seemed clear enough for a beginner. It was a fun way to introduce my kids to basic electronics, and they enjoyed seeing the lights come to life.
- Cons: A couple of nitpicks: the parts felt a bit flimsy and didn't hold up well during assembly, leading to some frustration. The educational aspect was oversold, as it didn't really teach much beyond the basics, and the soldering part was tricky without better guidance.
