I had this old peephole that was just useless—could barely make out who was there, especially in low light. Decided to upgrade to this OutsideWorld viewer, and it's been a solid solution. The display is sharp, and the wide angle means I don't miss a thing, like when delivery folks show up with oddly sized parcels. It's integrated well into my door, and I appreciate not having to squint anymore. However, it does get warm after extended use, which is a bit of a letdown. Overall, it's a good step up for home security, but not perfect. I'd recommend it with some reservations, as it does the job but could be better.
- Pros: The screen is quite large and clear, making it easy to recognize faces without any fuzziness. I like that it covers a broad view, so I can see more than just a sliver of someone at the door. It fits nicely with my home's decor, looking sleek and unobtrusive.
- Cons: It runs a bit hot after being on for a while, which is a bit annoying. For the price, I expected a bit more durability or perhaps better energy efficiency. Most likely, it's not the most budget-friendly option out there, and it could use some improvements in heat management.
