as a retired music lover in edmonton, i was frustrated with my old car stereo not keeping up with modern features. i wanted something to enjoy my tunes from concerts without a hassle. this adapter seemed like the perfect solution, and it mostly delivered. setting it up was straightforward—just plugged it in, and it started working. i appreciate that it offers both ways to connect, so i can go wireless when i'm feeling lazy or wired for a stable link. the automatic reconnection is a lifesaver; i don't have to fiddle with anything after the first setup. however, it's not perfect. there have been times when it didn't connect automatically, and i had to turn the car off and on again, which is annoying. the sound isn't the best; it's decent but not as clear as i'd like for my favorite tracks. overall, it's a good budget-friendly option that modernized my car fairly well, but it has its quirks. i'd recommend it with some patience for the occasional hiccups.
- Pros: it was easy to assemble, just plugging into the car's usb port, and i fairly liked that it works with my car's stereo without any fuss. the automatic connection is pure magic, no need to mess with settings each time, and having both wireless and wired options is great for flexibility.
- Cons: from what i feel, it doesn't always connect reliably, sometimes i have to restart the car or the device, which is a bit disappointing. also, the sound quality isn't as crisp as i'd hoped for my music, and it feels a bit flimsy in build.
