As an engineer, I'm always skeptical about products that promise too much, and these glasses were an acquired taste for sure. I bought them as a gift for my dad, who has trouble with screens and reading, thinking they might help with his eye fatigue. The problem was his constant complaints about headaches after long computer sessions. The solution seemed to be these glasses—they arrived quickly, and he started using them right away. They did make a difference; he said his eyes felt less tired, and he could read for longer without issues. But it took him a few days to get comfortable with the bifocal design, and he mentioned that the effect on screen light wasn't as strong as advertised. From my perspective, it seemed like a decent fix, but not perfect. The takeaway is that they're helpful for basic needs, but I wouldn't rely on them for heavy use. Overall, they're okay, but I expected a bit more for the price :).
- Pros: They were quite lightweight and comfortable, making it easy to wear them for long periods without noticing. The lenses helped reduce eye strain from screens, which was a nice touch, and they seemed to block some of the harsh light that usually bothers me. As a gift, they looked stylish and were easy to adjust to.
- Cons: The bifocal part took some getting used to, and it felt a bit awkward switching between views. The frame, while comfy, didn't feel very durable, and I had some doubts about how well they'd hold up over time. Also, the blue light blocking didn't seem as effective as I hoped, based on my initial use.
