i was expecting this to be a game-changer for parking, given the brand's reputation, but it's just okay. it does its job fairly well, and for the price, it's not bad, but i've used better ones that offer a fuller view and sharper details. if you're on a budget and need something reliable, it's a solid pick, but don't expect top-tier performance. overall, it meets expectations but doesn't exceed them, which is why i'm giving it a middle-of-the-road rating.
- Pros: the picture is pretty solid and clear, making it easier to see what's behind me when i back up, which is a big help. i like that it works well in bad weather since the housing keeps water out, and it connects easily to my car's screen without any fuss.
- Cons: the view isn't as wide as i hoped—it misses some spots on the sides, so i still have to be careful about blind areas. the image quality is decent but not amazing, and it feels a bit basic compared to other options out there.
