As a teacher in Houston with a kid, I'm always looking for ways to cut down on waste and save money, so I gave this a shot. The packaging was intact when it arrived, no issues there. After using it for a couple of months, it's been okay but not great. It's super easy to use, just press a button and it does its thing, but I've had moments where it didn't seal properly, leading to spoiled food. For someone like me who's a bit of a perfectionist, that's frustrating. It's most likely good for light duty stuff, like sealing dry snacks or small portions, but don't expect miracles. If you're into travel and need something portable, it might work, but I'd say it's just average. Not terrible, but not amazing either.
- Pros: I liked that it's small and easy to carry around, super handy for trips or just storing in a drawer. The fact that it charges with a USB cable means I don't have to hunt for a wall plug, which is a big plus. It does a decent job of sucking the air out of bags, making food last longer and saving me some cash on groceries.
- Cons: It doesn't work as well as I hoped for thicker items or liquids, sometimes leaving air behind. The semi-automatic part can be finicky, requiring multiple tries to get a good seal. Build quality feels a bit cheap, and I worry it might not hold up over time, especially with regular use.
