As a teacher, I'm always looking for ways to keep things stimulating, and this seemed perfect for my indoor cat who was getting bored. But over a couple of months, the novelty wore off. It's not that it's bad; it just doesn't hold up to long-term use. The movements are predictable after a while, and my cat now ignores it unless I manually restart it. For the price, I expected something a bit more advanced with maybe adjustable patterns or something. Still, it's a decent toy for short bursts, and I could be wrong, but it feels like it's missing that extra oomph to make it a staple. :)
- Pros: It's just what I needed to get my lazy cat moving—finally off the couch and chasing after it like a little predator. The way it darts and jumps around really mimics prey, and the light adds an extra thrill. Super durable; my cat's claws haven't scratched it up at all, and it's simple to use with one button.
