first impression i was excited to get this HOW-E trash can because i hate touching gross lids and as someone who cooks a lot it seemed perfect delivery was delayed a day but fine when it arrived it looked sleek and modern in my space the automatic opening is handy when im prepping food but it has its quirks like opening unexpectedly or not closing fast enough which can let smells out i use it daily and it does the job but for a high end product i expected more reliability it keeps things mostly contained and the capacity is good for my needs but overall its just okay not amazing i might recommend it if you can deal with the little issues
- Pros: the motion sensor works well and opens automatically when i wave my hand which is super convenient for keeping things clean especially when my hands are messy from cooking the large size holds a lot of trash and the dark green color looks nice in my kitchen blending in without standing out too much
- Cons: it seems too sensitive sometimes opening when i dont mean to like when im just walking by and the lid can be a bit slow to close which is annoying long story short it feels a bit flimsy for the price and the battery life isnt great needing frequent changes
