Before adding this system, my Highlander felt dated and disconnected—I was constantly using my phone for navigation, which was unsafe and annoying. Now, with this upgrade, it's like my car has a new lease on life; the maps are a huge help on long drives, and the screen makes everything feel modern. But as it seemed to me, it's not perfect; I've had moments where it froze or didn't respond quickly, which can be a letdown. For the price, it's a decent improvement, but I wish it were more reliable. Overall, it's a step up from what I had, making my daily commutes and family trips a bit easier, though I'm still a bit disappointed it didn't exceed my expectations.
- Pros: The screen is incredibly clear and responsive, making it easy to see maps and menus without squinting. It fits perfectly into my Highlander's dashboard, looking like it was always meant to be there. I love that I can get directions without fumbling with my phone, and connecting to the internet for music or updates works smoothly when I'm parked.
- Cons: The installation was a bit tricky; the manuals were okay, but I had to spend extra time figuring it out myself. Sometimes, the internet connection drops unexpectedly, which is frustrating when I rely on it for streaming. It doesn't feel as integrated with my car's existing features as I hoped, leaving some functions feeling separate.
