i bought this as a gift for my mom who has a multi-level home, thinking it would help with her vacuum. after using it for a couple of months, it's done its job well—no falls or close calls. but honestly, it's just okay. it doesn't add any extra features or make the vacuum better in othwr ways. if you have the right mdoel, it's a solid add-on for peace of mind, but it's not something i'd rave about. for the price, i expected a bit more versatility, but it does the basics. i'd say it's a decent purchase if safety is your main concern, but don't expect anything fancy.
- Pros: it seems very easy to install without any tools, which was a relief since i'm not handy. it does what it's supposed to by keeping the vacuum from falling off stairs, so no more scary moments near edges.
- Cons: the big downside is it only works with one specific vacuum model, which feels limiting and might not be usegul for everyone. it's a bit of a one-trick pony, only good for safety and nothing else.
