so, why did i buy this? well, i was in a hurry at the store and thought it might help with my home's cooling issues. as a builder, i work with tools and gadgets all the time, but this one left me a bit underwhelmed. it does the job, but not exceptionally. the packaging was intact when it arrived, which was good. i've only had it for a short while, maybe a week or two, so i can't say how it holds up long-term. emotionally, it's frustrating when things don't work perfectly right out of the box—my kid complains if the room gets too chilly! overall, it's okay, but i'm not blown away. would i recommend it? maybe if you're on a tight budget, but there are probably better options out there.
- Pros: the display is clear and makes it easy to see the temperature at a glance, which is a nice bonus. setting it up was straightforward, and it seems to handle the power requirements without any fuss.
- Cons: it doesn't feel as sturdy as i'd like, and the adjustments can be a bit finicky—sometimes it seems to overcorrect and make the room too cold or warm. for the price, i expected something a bit more reliable.
