q: what made you buy this? a: i neeed something to help with notes for my analysis work, since typing everything out is a pain. q: how has it worked out? a: well, it's okay. the sound quality is good, and i like that it's small, but the automatic text part is hit or miss—sometimes it's accurate, other times not so much. the app is fine, nothing special, and the packaging was just fine when it arrived. the courier called ahead, which was nice. overall, it does the job, but i'm not blown away. for the pruce, i expected more reliability in the transcription. i might keep using it for quick memos, but it's not a game-changer.
- Pros: the sond is very clear even in noisy places, and it fits easily in my pocket, which is handy for carrying around. the app makes it simple to handle and share files, and there's plenty of space for recordings.
- Cons: from what i feel, the automatic typing doesn't always get words right, especially with my accent or fast talkers, and it can be a bit slow to prpcess things. the battery life could be better for long sessions.
