so, i picked this up on a deal because my tv is ancient, and i thought, why not give it a shot? it does the job, i guess—i can finally watch my favorite fitness videos and stream shows, which is nice. but honestly, it’s not as smooth as i hoped. it gets warm pretty quickly, and i’m not sure if that’s normal or something to worry about. the picture quality is good when it’s working right, but there are times it stutters, and i have to restart it. for the price, it’s okay, but i might be wrong—maybe there are better options out there. overall, it’s functional but not amazing.
- Pros: it’s incredibly easy to set up and makes my old tv feel a bit smarter, letting me watch shows and use apps without much hassle. the picture looks sharp when it works, and i like that i can connect it to other devices without wires.
- Cons: it runs hot after a short while, which worries me, and sometimes the streaming gets choppy even with a good internet connection. the interface feels a bit clunky, and i’ve had a few moments where it just froze up on me.
