i bought this as a gift for my partner to upgrade the old system in his truck, thinking it would be a nice surprise. we installed it last week, and while it looks decent and works okay for most things, i'm a bit disappointed because it doesn't feel as premium as i imagined. the screen is nice and responsive, but i've had a few moments where it didn't register my touches right away, which is annoying when you're trying to navigate quickly. on the plus side, it did make the interior look more modern, and my partner likes the improved clarity for maps. overall, it's a decent 3/5—does the job but has its flaws. i might not recommend it if you're looking for something top-notch, but for a basic upgrade, it's alright.
- Pros: the screen is incredibly clear and bright, making everything easy to see, and the touch response is smooth and accurate, which i really appreciate. it fit perfectly into my partner's truck without any hassle, and the navigation feels much more responsive than what we had before.
- Cons: as it seemed to me, the installation wasn't as straightforward as i hoped, and i noticed some occasional lag when using certain features, which was a bit frustrating. also, the overall build quality feels a bit cheaper than expected for the price.
