as a software developer i appreciate how reliable this device is it was a game changer for my family giving us peace of mind with multiple kids around setup was straightforward but make sure you have the right hub beforehand i use it with the app to check things remotely and it works well overall a solid addition to a smart home just be mindful of the noise level
- Pros: it integrates seamlessly with my existing setup and the alert is loud enough to be effective without being overly disruptive the ability to monitor both sound and light changes from one device is quite convenient and the connection stays stable which is crucial for home security
- Cons: it requires a specific hub to function which adds to the initial cost and setup time and the loud siren might be a bit much for some households especially with close neighbors as it seemed to me
