I installed this in my Kia Carens to upgrade the outdated system, as I wanted something more current without breaking the bank. The problem was my old setup lacked modern features, making drives feel dated. This player solved that by adding a responsive touchscreen and reliable connectivity—it's a nice bonus to have maps and entertainment integrated. However, it's not perfect; the audio isn't top-notch, and there are occasional glitches. Overall, it does the job well enough for the price, but I wouldn't call it exceptional. It's a solid choice if you're on a budget and need basic upgrades.
- Pros: The screen responds well to touch and has a nice curve that makes it look modern in my older car. Staying connected is easy with fast internet options, and I appreciate how it pairs with my phone to show apps directly on the display. The built-in maps are a lifesaver for getting around without hassle, and playing music or videos keeps drives more enjoyable.
- Cons: From what I feel, the audio quality could be better; it's decent but not extremely impressive. Setting it up took some time and felt a bit fiddly, which was frustrating.
