got this from factory discount outlet, and the courier called ahead which was nice—no surprises. as an older bloke, i like that it integrates with my existing smart home gadgets, but it's a bit naff in places. tip: make sure your wi-fi is strong before installing, or it might drop connection. overall, it does the job but nothing special, seems okay for the price if you're on a budget.
- Pros: it's handy to control things from my chair, especially with the timer that lets me set when stuff turns on or off, which saves a bit on the electricity bill. works with the voice assistants i already use, so i can just talk to it without fumbling with my phone.
- Cons: the setup was a bit fiddly and it seems too sensitive sometimes, turning things off when i don't mean to. the build feels a bit cheap, not as sturdy as i'd like for something that's always plugged in.
