i bought this thinking it would be a smart upgrade for my living room, but reality hit when the app didn't work smoothly from the start. as an engineer, i appreciate the concept of controlling lights remotely, but the execution falls short with frequent dropouts. the colors are fun for photos, adding a nice touch to videos, but the inconsistency is annoying. most likely, it's okay for the money if you're a deal hunter like me, but don't expect perfection. it arrived on time, at least.
- Pros: the light is easy to set up with the app, and i like how i can change colors and brightness from my phone without getting up, which is handy for lazy evenings. it works with the power at home, and the colors are vibrant, making the room feel different depending on my mood.
- Cons: the manual is useless, just a waste of paper, and the app can be glitchy sometimes, disconnecting for no reason. the light might be too bright even on low settings for my taste, and i expected more durability for the price, as it feels a bit cheaply made.
