The LoRa wireless range reaches up to a quarter mile, so the valve can live in a dark mechanical room or outdoor pit where Wi-Fi never reaches. Power comes from the included 12V adapter, but if the power fails, four AA batteries keep the valve running for up to two years. You can also control it from your phone via the YoLink app, or use Alexa for voice commands. This isn't just a shutoff valve; it's a silent guard that acts before you even get the alert.
