as someone who values safety and convenience for my family, i bought this to keep an eye on our home. why did i choose it? well, it seemed like a good way to feel secure without being intrusive. how has it been? overall, it's been helpful; i can check on deliveries or unexpected guests from my phone, which is very handy. but is it perfect? no, there are moments when it doesn't catch everything, and i wish it were a bit simpler to use. would i recommend it to others? yes, with some patience, it does what it promises, and it gives me peace of mind, which is top-notch for my needs.
- Pros: the screen is very clear and big, making it easy to see who is at the door, even for my older eyes. i like that it tells me when someone is moving around outside, which feels reassuring, and the sound works well for talking to visitors without opening the door. connecting it to my home network was simple, and it seems reliable so far.
- Cons: it seems a bit pricey for what it does, and i had some trouble with the setup instructions not being very clear for someone not tech-savvy. sometimes the alerts come too often, which can be annoying, and in very dark conditions, the night view isn't as sharp as i'd hoped.
