so why did i get this thing? well, i'm always looking to save money and reduce waste, and this seemed like a good fit. after using it a bit, it does what it says—sucks the air out and keeps food fresh. it's straightforward, no fuss, and fits my needs for cooking and storing leftovers. ironic, isn't it? a military guy like me relying on a simple kitchen tool, but it works. would i recommend it? yeah, seems like a no brainer for anyone in a similar spot.
- Pros: it seems to work fairly well for sealing up all sorts of food, from wet stuff to dry bits, and it's small enough to tuck away easily in my kitchen, which is a big plus since space is tight. the one button operation makes it simple to use, even for someone like me who's not great with gadgets.
- Cons: i haven't found any real downsides yet, but being cautious, i wonder if it might not hold up over time or if there are hidden issues i haven't run into, though so far it seems solid.
