before i got this, i was always fumbling with my phone in the car, trying to prop it up somewhere unsafe. after using it for a couple of months, it's been okay for short trips, but on longer drives, it sometimes comes loose, and i have to readjust it. it's not the worst thing, but it could be better—maybe i'm wrong, but i expected more for the price. it does make hands-free calls easier, which is a plus for my job, but overall, it's just average. :)
- Pros: i liked that it sticks well to the dashboard without any residue, and the magnet is strong enough to hold my phone securely even on bumpy roads. the ability to rotate it to any angle was handy for seeing maps clearly while driving.
- Cons: it could be too weak for heavier phones, and the vacuum part didn't always stick properly on textured surfaces. the manual was useful, but i had to fiddle with it a lot to get it right, which was frustrating.
