As an older student here in Ottawa, I bought these on a whim after seeing an ad, and I've been using them for a couple of weeks now. Q: Did they live up to the hype? A: Well, they're quite good for the price, I suppose. I use them mostly while cycling or scootering around town to listen to podcasts or some light music—they do block out the noise decently, but not perfectly. The touch controls are a nice touch; I can skip tracks or adjust volume without fumbling, which is handy. Battery life is impressive; I only need to charge the case every few days, and the indicator light tells me when it's running low. However, I find the audio a bit lacking in depth—it's clear, but it doesn't have that oomph I remember from older wired headphones. Also, they tend to slip out a bit during vigorous movement, which is frustrating. Overall, they're functional and get the job done, but I'm not over the moon. Just what I needed for casual use, I guess! 😊
- Pros: They're quite convenient for my cycling trips, as I can listen without any wires getting in the way. The battery lasts a long time, which is just what I needed for my daily commutes, and I appreciate that they resist water well, so a little rain or sweat doesn't faze them. The touch controls are easy to use, and the light that shows the battery status is helpful.
- Cons: I could be wrong, but the sound quality isn't as rich as I hoped—it's a bit flat for my taste. Sometimes the connection feels a bit unstable when I'm moving around on my scooter, and they don't fit as snugly in my ears as I'd like, which can be annoying.
