I got this for my home aquarium and it's been a good addition. The courier called ahead for delivery which was helpful. I use it daily and it hums along quietly which I like. It helps maintain the water quality and my fish seem happier. For the price it's a decent buy but if you have a bigger tank you might need something more powerful. Overall it does the job well and I'd recommend it with that in mind. Tips keep the screen clean regularly to avoid issues and check the placement for best flow.
- Pros: It moves water really well and keeps my fish tank clean without making much noise. The filter screen is great at catching debris so it doesn't get clogged up. It uses very little power which is nice for saving on electricity bills. It was easy to set up and fits nicely in the tank.
- Cons: It seems a bit weak for larger tanks might not be strong enough if you have a big setup. The flow could be stronger in some cases. After a while the screen needs cleaning fairly often to keep it working right.
