Decision:

I purchased this as a gift for my grandchild who has an interest in science, and overall, it was a positive experience. The lack of need for batteries is a huge plus, saving on costs and being environmentally friendly. Assembly was a breeze, and it provided a good opportunity for us to work on it together, which was a nice bonding activity. Compared to other toys we've tried, this one stands out for its educational value and unique design. However, I did notice that it requires direct sunlight to work properly, so we had to plan playtime around sunny days. Despite that, it's a well-made toy that encourages learning through hands-on fun, and I would recommend it for families looking to combine education with play. :)

• Pros: I found it extremely clever how it operates solely on sunlight, which is a wonderful way to introduce renewable energy concepts to children. The assembly process was straightforward and enjoyable, making it accessible even for those without much experience in building things. The design has a charming, old-fashioned wooden appearance that sets it apart from typical toys, and it appears to be very durable and safe for kids to handle.
• Cons: As it seemed to me, it might not function well on cloudy days or indoors, which could be a limitation depending on the weather. The learning aspect, while beneficial, might not be as engaging for children who prefer more immediate play without the educational component.
