Before I got this, my solar setup was inefficient and I'd lose a lot of power especially during overcast days in Chicago. Now, it captures energy much better and keeps my batteries charged without overdoing it, which is great for powering small devices around the house. I appreciate that it's durable and can handle rain or shine, making it a solid choice for someone like me who values reliability. However, I wish it was easier to install without referring to the manual so much, and it might not suit bigger systems. Overall, it's a good improvement but not perfect :)
- Pros: It seemed to me this thing is very good at pulling in more power from the sun compared to my old setup which often wasted energy on cloudy days. The delivery was quick and it handles bad weather well, feeling sturdy and reliable in my backyard where my dog plays.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the manuals are helpful but I found the setup a bit confusing at first, and it doesn't work with larger solar panels which is a downside for future upgrades.
