i bought this on a whim thinking it would be a fun addition to my home setup, and while it does add a nice ambiance with all the color options, i've had issues with it not staying connected to my wifi as it seemed to me, which is frustrating when i'm trying to control it hands-free, the app isn't very intuitive and lags a lot, making simple changes a hassle, for mounting, i had to use extra tape to keep it in place because the included one didn't hold up, especially with my kids running around, on the plus side, the light output is decent and it works with my smart home system, but overall it feels like it could be better built and more reliable, not sure i'd buy it again unless they fix these problems
- Pros: the colors are very vibrant and it's easy to change them with my voice or phone, which my kids love during movie nights, and the brightness can be adjusted to just the right level for any mood
- Cons: the connection drops sometimes making it unreliable, the app feels clunky and slow, and the adhesive isn't strong enough so it keeps falling off my tv, plus it seems a bit overpriced for what it offers
