before I got this I often found small leaks too late like that time after a concert when I stepped in a puddle and ruined my shoes it was frustrating now with this sensor I get alerts early which is a relief but setting it up was a bit tricky for a beginner like me and I wish it didn't need that extra hub it does what it says but not perfectly from what I feel
- Pros: from what I feel the alert on my phone is quite immediate when water is detected and the battery life is impressively long lasting for years without needing a change it integrates well with my existing smart home setup after some settings and delivery was quick
- Cons: disappointed that it requires a separate hub to function which adds extra cost and setup hassle and it only works with certain systems not all my devices which limits its usefulness in my home
