i bought this expecting a solid doorbell to keep an eye on my place since im often out cycling or with my scooter and reality is it does the job fairly well the video is clear day and night and the two way chat works as advertised but the alert lag is an issue that might be fixable with updates i like that it withstands the weather here in atlanta and it integrates okay but not perfectly with my existing stuff overall its a good pick for security without overcomplicating things
- Pros: the picture is sharp even at night which is great for checking things out when its dark and i can talk to whoever is at the door from my phone which is handy for deliveries or scaring off critters it was easy to set up no tools needed and it connects to my home network without a hitch
- Cons: from what i feel the alerts can be a bit delayed sometimes so i miss the initial ring and it doesnt always play nice with my other gadgets which is a bummer for a seamless setup the build is tough but the mounting could be better in heavy rain
