As someone who loves tech and is always on a budget, I had high hopes for this little box. At first, it seemed like a great deal—it turned my basic TV into something I could stream shows on and even play some games. The setup was a breeze, which I appreciated, and I liked that I didn't have to fiddle with cables too much. But after using it for a couple of weeks, I've noticed it's not as reliable as I'd like. Some apps freeze up, and while the video looks sharp most of the time, there are moments when it stutters, especially with heavier content. The remote is a neat idea, but it feels gimmicky after a while, and I often find myself just using the buttons anyway. For the price, it's okay, but I expected a bit more polish and consistency. It gets the job done, but I'm not blown away—maybe it's fine if you're not too picky, but as a designer, I notice the little flaws more.
- Pros: I was quite impressed with how easy it was to set up; it connected to my Wi-Fi without any fuss and had plenty of storage for all my apps. The remote is fun to use with its motion controls, and it handles high-quality video smoothly, making my old TV feel much smarter.
- Cons: The performance seems a bit inconsistent at times, with some apps lagging or crashing, and the connection, while generally stable, occasionally drops. The design feels a bit cheap, and I wish it had better integration with my other devices.
