Decision:

It keeps drinks hot for hours, similar to a high-quality thermos, and I appreciate that it works well for both hot and cold beverages, making it versatile for different seasons. However, compared to simpler mugs, it does add a bit of weight to my bag, and the initial cost was a consideration. Overall, it's a solid improvement for my coffee habits, though not without its minor drawbacks.
