As a healthcare worker, I'm always looking for ways to make life easier, and this light from SikSog seemed like a good fit. I bought it to upgrade my kitchen lighting for better meal prep, and the courier actually called ahead to schedule delivery, which was a nice touch. Compared to other brands I've tried, this one offers more color options and better offline control, but it's not perfect. I've been using it for a couple of months now, and while I love how it can change from warm to cool light for different times of day, the music sync feature is hit or miss—it seems to lag sometimes. For hacks, I found that grouping multiple lights together in the app creates a more immersive experience, and setting scenes for morning routines saves me time. Overall, it's fairly reliable, but I wish it were more consistent. I'd recommend it with some patience, as it does add a fun element to my home.
- Pros: The colors are amazing, I can set it to any shade imaginable which is great for cooking under the right light, and the voice control works well with my assistant, making it easy to adjust without lifting a finger. The app is handy for changing settings even when my internet is down, and installation was a breeze, no tools needed really.
- Cons: The app can be a bit glitchy at times, and syncing with music doesn't always work smoothly, which is disappointing for parties. Also, the light doesn't dim as gradually as I'd like, it seems to jump between levels, and the initial setup took some fiddling to get right.
