As a dad with multiple kids running around, I bought this hoping to make our home lighting smarter and easier to manage. I expected it to be super reliable and intuitive, but the reality is a bit mixed. On the plus side, the design is modern and blends well with our decor, and I love that I can turn off lights from bed or while driving home—saves me trips up the stairs. The remote is a nice backup, though the kids keep hiding it! 😄 However, setting it up wasn't as seamless as I'd hoped; I had to restart the process a couple of times to get it connected, and occasionally, the app doesn't respond right away, which is frustrating when I'm in a hurry. For the price, it's decent, but I wish it were more consistent. I'd recommend it with some patience, but it's not perfect.
- Pros: The glass screen looks super sleek and feels smooth to the touch, which I really like. Being able to control the lights from my phone when I'm not at home is a game-changer, and the included remote is handy for when I misplace things. Installation was straightforward, even for someone like me who isn't great with tech stuff.
- Cons: I was most likely expecting it to work perfectly out of the box, but it took a bit of fiddling to connect to my home network, and sometimes there's a slight delay when I use the app. The touch screen can be a bit too sensitive at times, leading to accidental taps. Also, the delivery was delayed by a day, which was a minor annoyance.
