as a new mum in glasgow, i bought this hoping it would be a lifesaver for those fussy evenings. i've been using it for a couple of months now, and while it does help soothe my little one, it's not perfect. the smooth rocking is great—it really mimics being held, and i appreciate not having to manually rock it. the music part is nice when it works, letting me play lullabies from my phone, but the connection issues mean i often end up just using it without sound. it's comfy for the baby, and the build quality seems solid, but it's quite heavy, so i don't move it much. overall, it's a decent product that does the job, but i expected a bit more reliability for the price. it's helped me get some peace, but i'm not blown away. :)
- Pros: the rocking motion is quite smooth and gentle, which my baby seems to enjoy during naps, and i like that i can control it from a distance without having to get up. the music feature is handy for playing soft tunes, and the chair itself feels sturdy and well-made.
- Cons: the wireless connection for music sometimes drops out, which is a bit frustrating when i'm trying to keep things calm, and the remote doesn't always respond quickly. it's also a bit bulky to move around the house, and the fabric isn't as easy to clean as i'd hoped after spills.
