When I first got this, I was excited because I love DIY stuff and thought it would be a quick upgrade for my home. But honestly, after using it for a bit, I'm pretty let down. It does the basic job of alerting me when someone's there, and the easy installation was a plus, but the night light is weak and doesn't help much in the dark. The sound choices are cool at first, but they wear thin fast, and I've had it go off when it shouldn't, like for a passing car. As a healthcare worker, I need reliability, and this just doesn't cut it. I most likely won't be recommending it to others, even though it has its moments. Overall, it feels like an impulsive buy that didn't pay off.
- Pros: In my opinion, the setup was incredibly easy since it just plugs into a USB port, and I most likely appreciate that it can detect people accurately, which is great for knowing when someone's at the door. The variety of sounds it can play is a nice touch, and it's loud enough to hear over other noises in the house.
