As a sales manager I can evaluate this lock after using it for a couple of months It seemed to me that it does a decent job for basic security but it has its flaws I can say for sure that the convenience is there with multiple ways to unlock but the reliability isn't perfect I had issues with the fingerprint sensor not recognizing my print consistently and the app connectivity was spotty at times For the price I expected better performance but it works well enough for my home office door I wouldn't call it a must-have but it's an okay upgrade if you're looking to ditch keys
- Pros: I liked that I could open the door with just my fingerprint or a code which is quite convenient when my hands are full or it's dark outside The app lets me check and control the lock from my phone which is handy if I forget to lock up or want to let someone in remotely The backup key option is a relief in case the tech fails and the touch panel feels sturdy and easy to use
- Cons: The fingerprint reader doesn't always work right away sometimes it takes a few tries which can be frustrating especially in bad weather The app can be slow to respond at times and I had to reset it once which was a hassle The installation was tricky for me as a beginner with DIY and I needed help to get it set up properly which added extra time and effort
