I bought this lock a couple of weeks ago and it has made my life easier. As a software developer I appreciate simple tech that just works and this does most of the time. I use it to lock and unlock my door from inside my apartment which is handy when Im lazy on the couch. My wife likes it too because she can use her own fingerprint and we dont have to carry keys around. It feels sturdy and the installation was straightforward with the instructions provided. I did have a few issues with the fingerprint not working perfectly but overall its reliable. For the price I paid it seems like a good deal and it adds a layer of security to our home without being too complicated. I would recommend it to others who want to upgrade their locks without spending a lot.
- Pros: I feel super secure with this lock since I can open it with my phone or my fingerprint and it works well from a short distance. It was easy to set up and I like that I dont need keys anymore which is a big relief for someone like me who forgets things often.
- Cons: From what I feel it might not be the best if my phone battery dies and I have to rely on the password which is a bit slow to enter. Also the fingerprint reader can sometimes not recognize my finger if its wet or dirty which is annoying.
