So I picked this up from the store, convenient and all, but here's my self Q&A on it: Q: Does it live up to the hype? A: Not really, it's fairly basic. Q: Would I recommend it? A: Only if you're in a pinch and don't mind waiting. It's ironic how something so small promises so much but delivers just average. As a marketer, I see the appeal, but for actual use, it's meh. It's saved my day once or twice with my car, but for the price, I expected more oomph. In terms of cooking up a good review, it's hard to get excited about this one.
- Pros: It's fairly small and easy to carry around, just toss it in my bag and it's there when I need it. I like that it works automatically with different vehicles, no setup required, which is handy for my impulsive buys. From what I feel, it does a decent job powering up batteries without me doing anything.
- Cons: The output isn't as strong as I hoped, sometimes it feels slow to charge things up. It only works with certain battery types, so not as versatile as advertised. Issues fixable maybe with a better model, but for now, it's just okay.
