so, i picked this up on a whim after seeing it online—arrived on time, which was nice. from what i feel, it's a solid choice for anyone with an e-bike who wants some extra security without a lot of hassle. installation was straightforward, just a few wires to connect, and it's been reliable so far. the waterproofing has been tested in some heavy rain here in dallas, and it's held up fine. the alarm is definitely a deterrent; it scared off a would-be thief once, which was a relief. but yeah, those remotes could be better—they feel flimsy, and i wish they were more durable. overall, it does what it promises, and i'd recommend it with that caveat. not perfect, but quite good for the price and my needs.
