Decision:

As someone who fishes a lot around San Diego, I gave this Yediao bait a try after hearing about it. I used it a few times in the bay and off the coast, and it definitely turned heads—both mine and the fish's. The way it moves is smooth and convincing, and I didn't have to do much besides cast it out. Charging is straightforward with the cable, and the light is a nice touch for evening sessions. Most likely, it's a solid tool for casual fishing, but I found the battery life a bit short when using the light feature heavily. Delivery was smooth; the courier called ahead to schedule, which was efficient. Overall, it's a very useful gadget that adds a modern twist to fishing, though it has its limits.

  • Pros: The bait moves through the water on its own with a motor that makes it look very lifelike, almost like a real fish, which is great for attracting catches without much effort. I appreciate that it can be charged easily with a standard cable, so no need to keep buying batteries, and the built-in light helps when fishing in low light, making it stand out underwater. It works well in both fresh and salt water, which is handy for different spots.
  • Cons: One thing bugged me: the light feature drains the battery faster than expected, so it doesn't last as long as I'd like on a single charge, especially during longer trips. Also, while it swims realistically, it might not be as effective in very strong currents where natural bait could perform better.
