When I first got this remote, I thought it would solve all my problems since my old Samsung one was acting up. It does the job—turns the TV on and off, changes channels, all that—and it's nice that it's compatible without any setup. But as an engineer, even a beginner one, I can't help but be a bit disappointed. It's just a plain replacement, nothing special. For the price, I guess it's okay, but I wish it had a bit more to it. It's functional, sure, but not exciting. I'll keep using it because it works, but I might look for something better down the line.
- Pros: From what I feel, it works just like the original one did, no fussing with codes or anything—just took it out and it was ready to go. It's sturdy too; I've dropped it a few times and it's held up fine, which is a relief because my old one broke too easily.
- Cons: BUT it's TOO basic for my taste—I was hoping for something a bit more, you know, modern? It doesn't have any extra buttons or features, and honestly, it feels a bit cheap in hand compared to what I expected. 😕
