before this, i had a basic vacuum that always tangled with my dog's fur and missed spots, but this roborock thing is a game-changer. it glides through hair easily, cleans thoroughly from edge to edge, and the app lets me control it without hassle. compared to what i used before, it's much smarter and requires less effort, making my home feel cleaner. i'd recommend it, especially as a gift for pet owners, though the wifi limitation is something to keep in mind.
- Pros: from what i feel, it handles pet hair quite well without getting stuck, which is a big step up from my old one. the suction is strong and picks up everything, and the dock takes care of cleaning itself, so i don't have to mess with it often. it navigates around furniture smartly and gets into corners better than anything i've used before.
- Cons: couple of nitpicks: it only works with the slower internet connection, not the faster one, which might be an issue for some. and while it's good, the initial cost was a bit high for my budget.
