as a deal hunter, i expected these to be a simple fix for my dark hallway, and for the most part, they are. i bought them hoping to avoid stumbles during my late-night cooking sessions, and they do help with that. the reality is they work well when they detect motion, but it's not perfect—i've had a few misses that made me wish for something more consistent. overall, they're very handy and have made my home safer, but they could be improved with better sensitivity. i'd recommend them with a caveat that you might need to adjust placement carefully.
- Pros: i really like how these lights turn on when i walk by, making it easy to see at night without fumbling for switches. the light is warm and not too harsh, which is nice for not disturbing anyone. they blend into the wall well and look neat.
- Cons: it took some fiddling to get them set up right, and sometimes they don't sense me right away if i'm moving slowly. the brightness could be a bit stronger in some spots, and i wish they were a bit more reliable.
