As someone who researches everything before buying, I had high hopes for this player, and mostly it delivers. BUT the noise blocking isn't perfect, and the battery issue is a letdown—most likely fixable with updates though. Overall, it's a solid device that meets my expectations for daily use, just not flawless. I'd recommend it with some reservations, especially if you're picky about battery life.
